It is an old brick enclosed area that housed London’s most famous prisoners. Visitors can walk the grounds and see the place where Anne Boleyn was beheaded. Within the walls of this fortress-like compound is the housing area for Britain’s crown jewels.

Tourists go inside a darkened building and walk along a conveyor belt that takes them past the spectacular crown jewels.

The London Bridge is nearby and a fun place to visit as well.

Museum-goers can spend several days in this museum and not really see everything. There are other art museums and textile museums in London as well.

Somewhere along the way, most tourists stop at St. Paul’s cathedral, the tallest church in all of London and the Westminster Abbey, where many famous people were married and buried throughout the ages.

One of the more modern tourist attractions is the huge ‘London eye’ ferris wheel that offers a view of many of the London sites.
